Our large comfortable family home is in a quiet semi-rural community. Relax on the large back deck. Cook up a feast of local seafood in the gourmet kitchen.
Swimming beaches, bike trails, alpine hiking, whale watching, ocean kayaking, and farmers markets are all close-by. Explore Victoria's and Vancouver Island's many restaurants featuring fine dining and Asian cuisine. (We will leave a list of our favourites.)
World famous Butchart Gardens is just 5 minutes by car. Attractions of Victoria (capital city of British Columbia) are 20 minutes by bus or car. Vancouver, BC and Seattle, Washington, USA are just ferry rides away. But there is lots to do without going off Vancouver Island including visiting Long Beach, Tofino.
For July 2010, my husband and I arranged a 3 week house exchange in the summer in France through Intervac (FR080212) and it was a great experience. In September 2018, we had another wonderful exchange through Intervac (NL0763).
My husband has passed away but I am lucky to have friends who would like to travel with me. I look forward to corresponding with you.
