Louth, Ireland
House in Ardee. Co. Louth, Ireland
We live on the outskirts of the small town of Ardee which is 45 mins north of Dublin airport. We are situated close to the M1 motorway which provides easy access to Dublin and Belfast.
The historical site of Newgrange is situated 30 mins to the south.
The large shopping towns of Dundalk, Drogheda and Navan are all approximately 30 minutes drive.
Our house is an old style country house built on the banks of the River Dee - this is unfenced so care is needed with very young children.
Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. Downstairs there's a large kitchen/dining room, a sitting room, an office, a study, a utility room, and a bathroom.
The house is surrounded by a sizeable garden.
In the back garden there is a large garage with an upstairs playroom - table tennis, snooker, darts.
There are lots of children's toys, books, DVDs etc. Bicycles and musical instruments are available too including a piano and guitars. There is also an outside BBQ.
Car type: Seat Leon.
Friendly relatives living next door who are available to help if any problems arise.

It is a complex of Neolithic chamber tombs, passage graves, standing stones, henges and other prehistoric enclosures, some dating from as early as 3,200 BC. The most well-known sites within Brú na Bóinne are the impressive passage graves of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth all famous for their significant collections of megalithic art.
