Galway is renouned for its culture from traditional Irish music in the many pubs to art galleries, literary events and street entertainment. It also boasts a number of fine restaurants and wine bars. The famous Mountains and lakes of Connemara are but an hour away and the unique landscape of the Burren is 30 mins away.

Très beau séjour dans l'ouest de l'Irlande. Galway est la base idéale pour découvrir le Connemara. La maison de Marie est très calme et confortable. Bus à deux pas pour se rendre au centre de Galway. We had a great stay in Dominique and Guy's home in Vauvert. The location was excellent with a train service to the coast. The surrounding area was beautiful and near very beautiful towns such as Nimes and Avignon. We really enjoyed the shady garden to relax in. The house was very comfortable with all the conveniences. Dominique and Guy took good care of our house. We can recommend this house.

We are Marie and Gerry, a mature couple, interested in travelling and discovering new places and meeting people from other cultures. We love cycling and the outdoor life. We have completed several house swaps with other websites and find this a great way to holiday. We like visiting the local markets, cooking and having a bbq in the garden.
